Esta colección se compone de las películas que fueron digitalizadas por el Lapa, en esta serie entre 2014 y 2024, y transferidas a la FIC con la creación del Laboratorio de tecnologías para la preservación audiovisual. En segundo lugar, integran esta misma serie los archivos resultantes de estos trabajos realizados en la Facultad, desde esa fecha hasta el presente. Se trata de una de las principales vías de actuación del Lapa desde sus inicios, en términos de extensión de las actividades de preservación de archivos de cine. Su continuidad y ampliación tras el traslado del Laboratorio, busca profundizar los procesos de conexión con la comunidad, en materia de rescate y valorización de los archivos de cine y audiovisual en el país. A diferencia de los archivos integrales que preserva el Lapa, en este caso las solicitudes se realizan de forma unitaria o por conjuntos acotados. Cada película se acondiciona analógicamente y se digitaliza. Una copia digital queda disponible en baja resolución y con marca de agua en este repositorio y el master es preservado digitalmente bajo custodia de la FIC-Udelar, con respaldos en discos ópticos y cintas LTO. Los propietarios y/o derecho habientes obtienen una copia y las solicitudes con fines comerciales siempre están sujetas al acuerdo de todas las partes, buscando proteger y respetar los derechos de autoría y creación de las obras. Los originales en fílmico son devueltos a la institución o personas que originalmente los ha conservado. Esta serie configura una actividad central del Laboratorio desde sus inicios y su diversidad también es la expresión de los proyectos de colaboración que se han llevado a cabo en la última década, del conjunto de personas que han colaborado con este proceso en sus diferentes etapas y del crecimiento de este espacio de investigación, docencia y extensión en la Udelar. Además de los diversos integrantes que ha tenido el Laboratorio, la producción de esta serie es fruto de muy diversas iniciativas del Grupo de Estudios Audiovisuales (GESTA) de la Universidad de la República, cuyos proyectos han permitido los trabajos de rescate de fuentes primarias para la investigación. Destacamos también la actividad que desarrolló el colectivo Memorias Magnéticas, en el marco de los proyectos de extensión sobre memoria audiovisual y pasado reciente, así como las colaboraciones recientes con el Colectivo Cine Casero y el Archivo Dina Pintos de la Universidad Católica en la recuperación del archivo fílmico de Carlos Alonso. "Servicios Externos" también ha estado fuertemente asociado a diversos impulsos de trabajo en la Mesa Interinstitucional de Patrimonio Audiovisual dirigida por la Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual, que busca la colaboración con las instituciones de preservación del patrimonio audiovisual en Uruguay como Cinemateca Uruguaya o el Archivo Nacional de la Imagen y la Palabra del SODRE. En los últimos años, diversas colaboraciones de carácter académico con colegas de la región también han permitido el enriquecimiento de esta serie, a partir de iniciativas de cooperación que han resultado en estadías de formación en nuestro laboratorio. Esta colección se compone de las películas que fueron digitalizadas por el Lapa, en esta serie entre 2014 y 2024, y transferidas a la FIC con la creación del Laboratorio de tecnologías para la preservación audiovisual. En segundo lugar, integran esta misma serie los archivos resultantes de estos trabajos realizados en la Facultad, desde esa fecha hasta el presente. Se trata de una de las principales vías de actuación del Lapa desde sus inicios, en términos de extensión de las actividades de preservación de archivos de cine. Su continuidad y ampliación tras el traslado del Laboratorio, busca profundizar los procesos de conexión con la comunidad, en materia de rescate y valorización de los archivos de cine y audiovisual en el país. A diferencia de los archivos integrales que preserva el Lapa, en este caso las solicitudes se realizan de forma unitaria o por conjuntos acotados. Cada película se acondiciona analógicamente y se digitaliza. Una copia digital queda disponible en baja resolución y con marca de agua en este repositorio y el master es preservado digitalmente bajo custodia de la FIC-Udelar, con respaldos en discos ópticos y cintas LTO. Los propietarios y/o derecho habientes obtienen una copia y las solicitudes con fines comerciales siempre están sujetas al acuerdo de todas las partes, buscando proteger y respetar los derechos de autoría y creación de las obras. Los originales en fílmico son devueltos a la institución o personas que originalmente los ha conservado. Esta serie configura una actividad central del Laboratorio desde sus inicios y su diversidad también es la expresión de los proyectos de colaboración que se han llevado a cabo en la última década, del conjunto de personas que han colaborado con este proceso en sus diferentes etapas y del crecimiento de este espacio de investigación, docencia y extensión en la Udelar. Además de los diversos integrantes que ha tenido el Laboratorio, la producción de esta serie es fruto de muy diversas iniciativas del Grupo de Estudios Audiovisuales (GESTA) de la Universidad de la República, cuyos proyectos han permitido los trabajos de rescate de fuentes primarias para la investigación. Destacamos también la actividad que desarrolló el colectivo Memorias Magnéticas, en el marco de los proyectos de extensión sobre memoria audiovisual y pasado reciente, así como las colaboraciones recientes con el Colectivo Cine Casero y el Archivo Dina Pintos de la Universidad Católica en la recuperación del archivo fílmico de Carlos Alonso. "Servicios Externos" también ha estado fuertemente asociado a diversos impulsos de trabajo en la Mesa Interinstitucional de Patrimonio Audiovisual dirigida por la Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual, que busca la colaboración con las instituciones de preservación del patrimonio audiovisual en Uruguay como Cinemateca Uruguaya o el Archivo Nacional de la Imagen y la Palabra del SODRE. Esta colección se compone de las películas que fueron digitalizadas por el Lapa, en esta serie entre 2014 y 2024, y transferidas a la FIC con la creación del Laboratorio de tecnologías para la preservación audiovisual. En segundo lugar, integran esta misma serie los archivos resultantes de estos trabajos realizados en la Facultad, desde esa fecha hasta el presente. Se trata de una de las principales vías de actuación del Lapa desde sus inicios, en términos de extensión de las actividades de preservación de archivos de cine. Su continuidad y ampliación tras el traslado del Laboratorio, busca profundizar los procesos de conexión con la comunidad, en materia de rescate y valorización de los archivos de cine y audiovisual en el país. A diferencia de los archivos integrales que preserva el Lapa, en este caso las solicitudes se realizan de forma unitaria o por conjuntos acotados. Cada película se acondiciona analógicamente y se digitaliza. Una copia digital queda disponible en baja resolución y con marca de agua en este repositorio y el master es preservado digitalmente bajo custodia de la FIC-Udelar, con respaldos en discos ópticos y cintas LTO. Los propietarios y/o derecho habientes obtienen una copia y las solicitudes con fines comerciales siempre están sujetas al acuerdo de todas las partes, buscando proteger y respetar los derechos de autoría y creación de las obras. Los originales en fílmico son devueltos a la institución o personas que originalmente los ha conservado. Esta serie configura una actividad central del Laboratorio desde sus inicios y su diversidad también es la expresión de los proyectos de colaboración que se han llevado a cabo en la última década, del conjunto de personas que han colaborado con este proceso en sus diferentes etapas y del crecimiento de este espacio de investigación, docencia y extensión en la Udelar. Además de los diversos integrantes que ha tenido el Laboratorio, la producción de esta serie es fruto de muy diversas iniciativas del Grupo de Estudios Audiovisuales (GESTA) de la Universidad de la República, cuyos proyectos han permitido los trabajos de rescate de fuentes primarias para la investigación. Destacamos también la actividad que desarrolló el colectivo Memorias Magnéticas, en el marco de los proyectos de extensión sobre memoria audiovisual y pasado reciente, así como las colaboraciones recientes con el Colectivo Cine Casero y el Archivo Dina Pintos de la Universidad Católica en la recuperación del archivo fílmico de Carlos Alonso. "Servicios Externos" también ha estado fuertemente asociado a diversos impulsos de trabajo en la Mesa Interinstitucional de Patrimonio Audiovisual dirigida por la Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual, que busca la colaboración con las instituciones de preservación del patrimonio audiovisual en Uruguay como Cinemateca Uruguaya o el Archivo Nacional de la Imagen y la Palabra del SODRE. En los últimos años, diversas colaboraciones de carácter académico con colegas de la región también han permitido el enriquecimiento de esta serie, a partir de iniciativas de cooperación que han resultado en estadías de formación en nuestro laboratorio. Señalamos, en este sentido, que varios de los archivos producidos en el marco de esta serie configuran jalones importantes en la conformación de la Red de Memoria Audiovisual Latinoamericana (REMAUL).
